ABOUT
I’ve always been the figure-outer. It even ended up on my business card back when those mattered.
I’m drawn to understanding how things work and how to explain them clearly. That instinct started with maps, bikes and gear, then grew into a 15+ year career across motion design, 3D, visual systems, product visualization, film graphics and live experiences.
I’ve worked in-house, embedded with agencies and brand teams, co-founded a live-visuals collective and built Nifty Studio. I work as a director-maker: I can find the visual direction, present the idea, build the team and production plan, then stay close to the work in After Effects and Cinema 4D.
I’m strongest when the brief is complex or still taking shape and the team needs someone who can turn it into a clear system and carry it through delivery.
CREATIVE APPROACH
Clarity is at the center of everything I make. Whether I’m building a motion language, product visualization, graphics package or multi-screen toolkit, I start by finding the idea that needs to stay clear.
From there I build the visual system and production path around it. That can mean setting direction and guiding a team, designing templates and reusable assets, or getting into After Effects and Cinema 4D to solve the hard part myself.
The finished work should feel intuitive, hold together across formats and give the next person something useful to build from.

Outside the studio, I’m usually with my daughters, on a bike, in the mountains or paying too much attention to how a piece of gear works. That curiosity follows me back to the work.
