DESCRIPTION
While contracting with Spillt, the Atlanta Hawks needed custom court projection animations to be played at game openers. The graphics were created to have a “sweet spot” angle where they would make the court feel as if it’s dropping. Using this effect, we created a several minute show piece that fans would enjoy all season. I primarily worked on the floor drop scene into the “LED city” (0:26) and the cheerleaders on buildings scenes (0:36).

BREAKDOWN
Due to the nature of the projector location vs the "sweet spot" viewing angle, 3D work had to be created perspectively and then composited flat to be projected top down.
